Report】Seminar on Decarbonization Management Support for SMEs in FY2024 was held.

　Yokkaichi City held a hybrid "Decarbonization Management Support Seminar for SMEs" at the Yokkaichi Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday, November 7, 2024, with a total of 34 participants, both on-site and online, in an effort to promote voluntary decarbonization among SMEs in the city.

　At the seminar, Chokai Kankyo Business Co., Ltd. gave a presentation on the latest trends in carbon neutrality and the necessity and challenges for SMEs to engage in decarbonized management, and Fujii Twisted Yarn Co. Ltd., a model company, introduced its initiatives for decarbonized management, including the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, the Energy Conservation Center, Japan, gave a lecture on how to proceed with energy conservation, energy conservation diagnosis, and case studies, giving participants a better understanding of the specific approaches and benefits of decarbonization management.
